West Texas Resort Accommodations
Cibolo Creek Ranch offers a blend of comfort and privacy sought by demanding guests from around the world.
The restored forts at three separate sites on the ranch meticulously follow the architectural style of the 1800s, complete with adobe walls, cottonwood beams, and period antiques.
Every beautifully appointed guest room or suite at each of the fort sites is designed to capture the style and spirit of the dramatic history of the ranch. Each room has been individually designed and uniquely furnished to offer:
- King-size, queen-size, or twin beds
- Traditional Mexican architecture and appointments such as spacious verandas and Saltillo tile floors
- Mexican and Spanish antiques complemented by down comforters, hand-stitched quilts, painted tin retablos, and vintage lamps
- Pampering bath amenities
- Adobe fireplaces warm winter nights
- Spacious comfort surrounded by spring-fed canyons and extraordinary landscapes
Guest accommodations are provided at:
El Cíbolo—the largest of the forts, with 21 guest rooms located in two adjoining haciendas that mirror the style of the old fort, features a well-equipped spa, swimming pool, hot tub, recreation facility, multimedia room, conference room, well-stocked lake, sporting clay shooting site, rifle and pistol range, and an extraordinary museum of historical and regional artifacts. El Cíbolo and all of its guest rooms and facilities may be reserved for up to 44 guests.
La Ciénega—located 30 minutes across the ranch from El Cíbolo, with 5 rooms in the old fort and 5 rooms in the adjoining hacienda, offers a swimming pool, hot tub, hammocks, a well-appointed kitchen, dining room, and recreation/multimedia area. La Ciénega may be reserved in its entirety for up to 20 people or by individual guest room or suite.
La Morita—the smallest, most secluded of the three forts, with an adjacent adobe guest cottage that provides a sitting room, full bath, and a separate bedroom. Due to its location—it is situated 45 minutes across the ranch from El Cíbolo—La Morita does not have electricity and it relies on oil lamps and a gas-burning water heater. Cool breezes and a gas-log stove provide air conditioning and heat. Meals are served at El Cíbolo or may be picked up at El Cíbolo on a daily basis. La Morita may be reserved for single or double occupancy by adventuresome travelers.
Due to the ranch’s remote location, it is easier to dine with us than to drive 45 minutes to a restaurant in Marfa. We offer a meal plan of breakfast, lunch, hors d’oeuvres, and dinner for $75 per guest per day, including children over the age of 5.
Our room rates do not include guest options such as guided tours, horseback riding, spa services, airport shuttles, or hunting.
At Cíbolo Creek Ranch, service is teamwork, and we provide an uncommon level of personal service and pampering for our guests—at no extra charge. We feel that gratuities are not obligatory but a personal choice. If you choose to leave a tip for our staff, please do so in our main office upon your departure, so that it can be equally distributed among all.
