Cibolo Creek Ranch Airstrip Arriving by Private Plane

For those who plan to arrive by personal aircraft, Cibolo Creek Ranch has its own private airport, located about four miles from ranch headquarters and 33 miles SSW of Marfa, Texas. The FAA Identifier is TS15. Our runway, Runway 9/27, is 5,300 feet long and 60 feet wide and can accommodate most private aircrafts. The runway’s surface is crushed rock and asphalt with an emulsion coating. There are turnaround areas at both ends of the runway and a paved parking area. The runway is lit for nighttime arrivals. There is no FBO, and we do not have aviation fuel, although it’s available in nearby Marfa.

All guests arriving by aircraft must sign a release prior to landing. Call us at  +1 (432) 729-6654, and we’ll fax you the necessary forms. Please advise us of your ETA, and we’ll have a ranch representative meet you at the airstrip.

Additional convenient landing strips are also available off the property. Please contact us for more information.

NOTE: As cell service will be extremely limited throughout your West Texas drive and especially once leaving Marfa or Presidio, please utilize the following as well as your GPS.

Traveling south on Highway 67 (from Marfa) at about 32 miles, there will be a sign on your left pointing to Chinati Peak. About two miles after that is a historical marker sign pointing right. A short time later is flagpole, also on the right, with a State of Texas Flag and a white flag with an “F.” (Milton Faver was the original owner of the ranch in the 1800’s and his legacy continues to be honored at Cibolo Creek Ranch). There is a rock wall defining the ranch entrance. You have arrived. Enjoy the 4.5 mile drive on a mostly unpaved road to a gate with an “F” on it. To your left is a security feature (a pole with a quail on it). Press the button and the gate will open. Drive ahead to the end of the road; turn right and park immediately to your right. As you pull in, the lobby (fort entrance) will be to your left. Walk through the entrance and the front desk will be on your right.
